Yasmine Al-Bustami

Yasmine Al-Bustami ( Arabic ياسمين البسطامي, DMG Yāsmīn Al-Busṭāmī ) (* in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates ) is an American actress .

life and career

Al-Bustami was born in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates . At the age of three, she and her family moved to Texas , USA. After graduating from school, she initially only wanted to work as an actress to finance her studies, but then stayed with acting.

In 2010 she made her film debut in the short film Unimaginable . This was followed by further engagements in short films until 2013, but she played one of the leading roles in the film Ladies' Man: A Made Movie . She gained fame among younger audiences for her role as Monique Deveraux in The Originals . She also acted in an episode of the Nashville series . From 2016 to 2019 she had the role of Sasha in the television series I Ship It . In 2017 she was in the film You Get Me , in 2018 she appeared in eight episodes of the television series Orbital Redux .
