Chicken Yassa

In Senegambian cuisine, yassa is a spicy, marinated dish that is prepared with poultry, meat or fish and is usually served with rice . In addition to the spices, there are also numerous onion slices in the brew, which is acidified with lemon juice .

It is one of the most famous dishes of the national cuisine of the West African countries Gambia and Senegal.
