Kongōsen-ji

The Buddhist temple Kongōsen-ji ( Japanese 金剛山 寺 ) better known under the name Yata-dera ( 矢 田 寺 ) stands on the Yata-san near Yamatokōriyama in the Japanese prefecture of Nara . 1300 years ago, preached oama no miko (Temmu- tennō ) on the Yata-san for victory. In 676 the priest Chitsu-sojo built the first temples. Before 810 the Jizō Bosatsu (Ksitigarbha-bodhisattva) was set up by Manmai-shonin and Onono-Takamura .

  • Jizo-ekishi ceremony on August 23rd and 24th
