The Yairu Zangbo ( Tibetan གཡསརུ་ གཙང་ པོ་ Wylie : g.yas-ru gtsang-po ; also: Yeru Tsangpo , Chinese  叶 如 藏 布 , Pinyin Yèrú Zàngbù , earlier also 崖 鲁 臧 博 , Yálǔ Zāngbó / Yáilǔ Zāngbó and the like; not to be confused with the Yarlung Zangbo ) is a river in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China .

It rises in the west of Gamba County in the city of Xigazê , flows west through the communities of Sar and Gyangkar in Dinggyê County and then flows into the Bum Chu (Tib .: བུམ་ ཆུ་ bum chu, officially Pum Qu, Chinese  朋 曲 , Pinyin Péngqǔ ), the upper reaches of the Arun , which forms the border between the districts of Dinggyê and Tingri , flows into Nepal and flows into the Ganges via the Koshi . Shortly before the confluence with the Bum Chu, a river called Quqiang Zangbu in Chinese joins from the right ; the common course of the river from this confluence to the confluence with the Bum Chu is called Xielin Zangbu ( 协 林 藏 布 ) in Chinese .
