The Yew Tree Tarn is a lake in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The lake is of natural origin, but was further dammed with a dam by James Marshall in the 1930s. The Guards Beck forms the tributary of the lake in the north. The Yew Tree Beck is its drain to the south.
