Yinzhou (Ningbo)
The Yinzhou District ( Chinese 鄞州 区 , Pinyin Yínzhōu Qū ) is a municipality in the sub-provincial city of Ningbo in the east Chinese province of Zhejiang .
In the course of the territorial reform in 2016, a large part of Yinzhou west of the Fenghua River was cut off and added to the Haishu district, and the Jiangdong district was dissolved and incorporated into Yinzhou. This led to a reduction in its area from 1,380.54 km² to 814.2 km². The population was 776,600 in 2005, with the addition of urban Jiangdong it rose to 1,257,000.
Administrative structure
At the municipality level, the municipality is made up of three street districts, sixteen large municipalities and one municipality.
