Yiyuan
Yiyuan ( Chinese 沂源县 , Pinyin Yíyuán Xiàn ) is a district in the Chinese province of Shandong . It belongs to the administrative area of the district-free city of Zibo . Yiyuan has an area of 1,637 km² and a population of 550,000. Its main town is the large community of Nanma (南 麻 镇).
The site of Homo erectus of Yiyuan (Yiyuan yuanren yizhi 沂源 猿人 遗址) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-104) since 2006 .
