Chiping

Chiping ( Chinese  茌平 区 , Pinyin Chípíng Qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Liaocheng in the west of the Chinese province of Shandong . In 1999 it had 565,756 inhabitants.

The Neolithic Jiaochangpu site (Jiaochangpu yizhi, 教 场 铺 遗址) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-117) since 2006 .
