overview

Ynetnews was founded in Tel Aviv in 2005 to deliver reports and real-time breaking news from Israel and the Middle East . Ynetnews founding editor Alan Abbey left in the summer of 2005, and Ynetnews has since been run by Jon Feder, the executive editor of Ynet. The Ynetnews team does 24/7 coverage based on articles and reports by Ynet and Jedi'ot Acharonot and other parent company publications. Ynetnews also provides original material and background reports, commentary and analysis of public opinion in Israel as well as features from Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world in our own production here.

criticism

Ynetnews has a secular orientation, criticized by the ultra-Orthodox (Haredim) for reporting too often overly critical reports on the ultra-Orthodox.
