Yober Ortega

Yober Ortega (born August 21, 1965 in Tucupido ) is a former Venezuelan boxer in the super bantamweight division .

professional

On September 15, 1990, he successfully made his professional debut. On November 17, 2001, he became World Champion of the WBA when he defeated José Rojas with a classic knockout in round 4. He defended this belt the following year at Yoddamrong Sithyodthong on points.

In 2006 he ended his career after 44 fights with 35 wins (24 of them knocked out).
