Yokohama Triennial
The Yokohama Triennial ( Japanese ヨ コ ハ マ ト リ エ ン ナ ー レ , Yokohama Torienāre ) is a triennial of contemporary art in Yokohama founded in 2001 .
It is the largest art exhibition in Japan and was held so far in 2005, 2008 and 2011 and reached an audience of one million visitors.
The organizers are the city of Yokohama, the public broadcaster NHK , the daily Asahi Shimbun and the organizing committee. The Yokohama Art Foundation is co-organizer.
