Lisa Sheridan
Lisa Sheridan (born December 5, 1973 in Macon , Georgia - † February 25, 2019 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) was an American actress .
life and career
Sheridan attended Carnegie Mellon University Drama School in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania and was awarded the Thomas Auclair Commemorative Fellowship for Most Promising Actor.
Sheridan's first television appearance was in 1997 in the sitcom A Strong Family . Between 1998 and 1999 she played a major supporting role in the western series Legacy , which was set shortly after the American Civil War , the series was canceled despite good reviews due to poor audience numbers. Between 2000 and 2001 she starred in the short-lived science fiction / mystery series FreakyLinks . This was followed by guest appearances in various television series, before she got another lead role in 2005: In the science fiction series Invasion , she played the journalist Larkin Groves. In 2006 she was supposed to play the lead role in the justice series Conspiracy , but the series did not get beyond the pilot . In 2007 she had a recurring role in the science fiction series Journeyman - The Time Jumper as Theresa Sanchez. This was followed by guest appearances in various television productions. Most recently, she appeared in a number of television series and the film Strange Nature (2018).
From 2001 to 2003, Sheridan was engaged to fellow actor Ron Livingston . She died on February 25, 2019 at the age of 45. Lisa Sheridan died of natural causes of "complications from chronic alcoholism, " according to the New Orleans Forensic Medicine report in May 2019 . She suffered from other health problems. It is benzodiazepine reported abuse, which is typical for anxiety and insomnia. There was also an old brain injury that could be traced back to a fall. Furthermore, were a pulmonary emphysema and a cyst on the right ovary documented.
