Yomiuri Yoshino Sakuzo Prize

The Yomiuri Yoshino Sakuzō Prize ( Japanese 読 売 ・ 吉野 作 造 賞 , Yomiuri Yoshino Sakuzō Shō ) is a science prize that has been awarded since 2000 by the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper and the Chūōkōron Shinsha publishing house . The prize is worth 3 million yen. The prize was created in 1999 through the amalgamation of the Yomiuri Rondan Shō ( 読 売 論壇 賞 , "Critic Award of the (magazine) Yomiuri") and the Yoshino Sakuzō Shō ( 吉野 作 造 賞 , " Yoshino Sakuzō Prize")
