Chūōkōron Literature Prize

The Chūōkōron Literature Prize ( Japanese 中央 公 論文 芸 賞 , Chūōkōron Bungei Shō ) has been awarded since 2006 on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the publishing house Chūōkōron Shinsha . The prize is endowed with 1 million yen in prize money. The winners will be announced in October.

The Chūōkōron Literature Prize is the continuation of the Fujin Kōron Bungei Shō , which was launched in 2001 by renaming the Women's Literature Prize.

  • 2011 Inoue Areno for Soko e ikuna ( そ こ へ 行 く な ) and Nonami Asa for Tsuchi no hate kara ( 地 の は て か ら )
  • 2012 Higashino Keigo for Namiya zakkaten no kiseki ( ナ ミ ヤ 雑 貨 店 の 奇蹟 )
  • 2013 Ishida Ira for Hokuto aru satsujinsha no kaishin ( 北斗 あ る 殺人者 の 回心 )
  • 2014 Kiuchi Nobori for Kushihiki chimori ( 櫛 挽 道 守 )
  • 2015 Shinoda Setsuko for Indo kurisutaru ( イ ン ド ク リ ス タ ル ) and Nakajima Kyōko for Nagai o-wakare ( 長 い お 別 れ )
  • 2016 Higashiyama Akira for Tsumi no owari ( 罪 の 終 わ り )
  • 2017 Mori Eto for Mikazuki ( み か づ き )
  • 2018 Asai Makate for Unjō unge ( 雲 上 雲 下 )
