Yook Keun-Byung

Yook Keun-Byung ( Korean 육근병 ) (* 1957 in Junju , South Korea ) is a South Korean media artist . Yook studied at Kyung Hee University in Seoul and obtained his master's degree in 1983 .

"Eyes" are an important theme in Yook's work. The immense video Eye for Field attracted a lot of attention at the documenta IX in Kassel. The installation Transport focuses on flowers and plants in the mountains that are ignored by hikers and other people. Survival is History uses numerous images of war.
