The Young European Swiss (yes) is the youth organization without party affiliation, the New European Movement Switzerland (NEBS) and the Swiss section of the Young European Federalists .
Goals and Organization
The association supports Switzerland's participation in the European integration process and calls for Switzerland to join the European Union .
The association is organized as an independent youth organization for members of the non-partisan New European Movement Switzerland under 35 years of age. It consists of regional groups and continuously organizes projects, discussions, panel discussions, parties, street actions and much more in order to sensitize young people to European politics.
Projects and Campaigns
The association organizes various information projects for young people, such as the annual Challenge Europe seminar and the Europe @ School workshop for schoolchildren .
In Swiss national politics, the association takes part in voting campaigns on European issues. Since it was founded, the association has campaigned for new bilateral agreements with the EU.
Participation in Europe-wide initiatives
As the Swiss section of the Young European Federalists , the association oversees various Europe-wide campaigns, such as the protest against the authoritarian government of Belarus .
