The Young River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is located in the Great Southern region .
geography
The river rises west of the Stirling Ranges , north of Kendenup and flows southeast along the southwest border of the national park. At Burnside , on the southern edge of the national park, it flows into the Kalgan River .
