Youssoufou Bamba

Youssoufou Bamba is an Ivorian diplomat .

Life

He was accredited as the new UN ambassador in New York in a ceremony on December 23, 2011 amid the 2010/2011 government crisis . He was proposed by Alassane Ouattara . His predecessor was Alcide Djédjé , a follower of Laurent Gbagbo . Bamba was unanimously accepted by the General Assembly of the United Nations , which was generally accepted as recognition of Ouattara as the election winner.
