Yukitsuna Sasaki
Yukitsuna Sasaki ( Japanese 佐佐木 幸 綱 , Sasaki Yukitsuna ; born October 8, 1938 ) is a Japanese poet and literary scholar.
The grandson of the poet Nobutsuna Sasaki is a professor of Japanese literature at Waseda University in Tokyo. He heads the writers' group Chikuhaku Kai and is the editor of the literary magazine Kokoro no hana (Heart's Blossoms), which his grandfather founded . Sasaki published several works on Tanka literature and wrote fourteen Tanka volumes himself. In 2011 he was awarded the Yomiuri Literature Prize in the poetry category.
