Yusuf Alireza

Yusuf Abdulla Yusuf Akbar Alireza (* 1970 in Bahrain ) is a manager living in Hong Kong . He is the chief executive officer of Noble Group and a former banker of Goldman Sachs .

Life

Alireza holds Bachelor and Masters degrees from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University . Alireza worked for Goldman Sachs Asia (excluding Japan) from 1992 to 2011 , where he was a partner from 2004 and Vice President from January 2011. He was also a member of the global management team at Goldman Sachs. As the successor to Richard Elman , he has been managing director of the Chinese company Noble Group since April 2012 .

For a while, the Noble company founder Elman was resumed the position of head of management after his predecessor Ricardo Leiman resigned in November 2011.

Voluntary work

Yusuf Alireza volunteers in the management of the company Room to Read , which aims to make it easier for children to access school education and books.
