Yvonne Hirdman (born January 18, 1943 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish historian and professor at Stockholm University and at Södertörn University . She has produced influential work, translated into several languages, particularly in the field of gender history .

Life

Hirdman is the youngest daughter of Marie Ida Käthe Charlotte Hirdman, née Schledt and former Countess von Stenbock-Fermor .
