Yvonne Schulz Zinda

Yvonne Schulz Zinda (* 1965 ) is a German Koreanist .

Life

From 1985 to 1993 she studied Sinology, Philosophy, Political Science and Korean Studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , SOAS University of London and Fu-Jen University . After graduating as Dr. phil. In 2001 she has been a professor for contemporary East Asian cultures at the University of Hamburg since 2012 .

Her main research interests are academic disciplines in the humanities during the socialist development of the 1950s to 1970s (North Korea / China), the history of film, modern philosophy (China) and school books (late 19th and early 20th centuries).
