Zain Verjee

Zain Verjee (born February 11, 1974 ) is a Kenyan - Canadian journalist.
Verjee is co-anchor of CNN International's European daytime program World One. Prior to that, she was a newsreader for The Situation Room , a state department correspondent, and co-anchor for CNN Internationals Your World Today and World Report .
In 2008, Verjee was shot with a tear gas cartridge by the Kenyan police.
