Zalicus, Inc. (formerly: CombinatoRX ) was a pharmaceutical company that specialized in investigating the effects of combining different drugs in order to be able to manufacture completely new drugs from them.
history
The company was founded by Alexis Borisy and was based at Boston University . In December 2009, Combinatorx merged with Neuromed Pharmaceuticals. In September 2010, the company called in Zalicus, Inc. has to offer. The company was dissolved in July 2014 with the merger with Epirus and the name change to Epirus Biopharmaceuticals .
