Zanda ( Tsada Dzong , རྩ་ མདའ་ རྫོང , Wylie transliteration rtsa mda 'dzong ; Chinese  札达县 , pinyin Zhada Xiàn ) is a circle of the administrative district of Ngari (Chinese:. Ali ) in the west of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . In 1999 it had a population of 5,624.

The Guge ruins and Toding Monastery (Tholing Monastery) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

Administrative structure

At the community level, the district consists of a large community and five communities . These are ( pinyin / chin.):

  • Xiangzi Township 香 孜 乡
  • Community Qusong曲松乡
  • Community Diya底雅乡
  • Sarang parish 萨 让 乡
  • Daba municipality 达巴 乡
