Tombs of the Tibetan kings

The tombs of the Tibetan kings ( Chinese  藏 王墓 , Pinyin Zàng wáng mù , English The Tombs of the Tibetan Kings ) are a burial place of early Tibetan kings (approx. 7th century) in the Chonggye district (琼结 县; Tibetan སྣེ་ གདོང་) རྫོང Wylie sne gdong rdzong ), southeast of Lhasa in the Tibet Autonomous Region , China .

It is said that Songtsen Gampo and Princess Wen Cheng and the kings before and after them were buried there.

The graves have been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China in Tibet since 1961 .
