ZaPF

The abbreviation ZaPF stands for the gathering of all physics student councils . It is about the federal student council meeting of physics , to which all physics student councils of German, Swiss and Austrian universities are invited. The registered association ZaPF eV, based in Frankfurt am Main , belongs to the ZaPF, whose main task is to provide financial support to the student council as required . The organization of the following ZaPF takes place at the meeting itself, whereby it is ensured that two meetings take place every year (one in summer and one in winter). The ZaPF take place at different universities. The physics department of the university where the ZaPF takes place is responsible for the event.

At the meetings, topics such as the introduction of new courses, evaluation of courses, teacher training, coordination of mathematics and theoretical physics training in the course, etc. are discussed and guidelines, such as minimum requirements for a physics bachelor's degree, are formulated.

The ZaPF sends representatives to the accreditation pool to assess bachelor's and master's degree courses, from which the accreditation agencies (in this case AQAS , ACQUIN and ASIIN ) are drawn from student experts.
