Zaven Kouyoumdjian ( Arabic زافين قيومجيان, Armenian Զավեն Կույումջյան ; * 1970 in Beirut ) is a Lebanese television journalist of Armenian descent.

Zaven Kouyoumdjian is counted among the most provocative television producers in Lebanon. The US magazine Newsweek counts Zaven Kouyoumdjian "among the most influential people in the Arab world".

He began his career in 1992 as a news anchor for the state broadcaster Télé Liban and soon established himself with his own talk show. Socially critical issues such as poverty in post-war Lebanon led to his dismissal. His "Sire Wenfatahit" show received the best slot on the private broadcaster Future Television , with topics that are supposedly taboo in Islam, such as sexuality and Islam, AIDS and child trafficking. One focus of his work is dealing with the civil war. In his book "Lebanon Shot Twice" he researches people from press images from the time of the civil war and portrays them in a post-war context. His work with young people, whom he gave a camera so that they can portray their situation on their own, caused a sensation.
