Zazie (computer artist)

Zazie (* 1956 in Zweibrücken ; actually Evi Moechel ) is a German photographer and computer artist .

Life

Zazie studied interior architecture and design in Kaiserslautern until 1981. From then on she moved to Vienna, where she still lives today.

She sees herself as a surrealist . Her field of work is the manipulation of digital images, her work has won various prizes, and some of her work was featured in a cover story in the IEEE magazine Computer Graphics .

Zazie worked as a photographer for newspapers and magazines for 15 years before starting digital image processing in 1997. From 1999 to 2004 she was a member of the Groupe de Paris du Mouvement Surréaliste .
