Zbigniew Chmielowiec

Zbigniew Michał Chmielowiec (born September 22, 1954 in Kolbuszowa ) is a Polish politician ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - PiS), former mayor of Kolbuszowa and since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.

He finished his studies at the Technical University of Cracow and then worked in construction production companies.

From 1994 to 2002 he was a city councilor in Kolbuszowa . Since 1990 he has worked as a department head in the local self-government, then a representative of the mayor and from 1998 to 2005 mayor.

In the parliamentary elections in 2005 he was elected to the Sejm with 10,236 votes on the list of the PiS for the constituency of Rzeszów. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 he was elected for the second time, this time with 17,243 votes. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for environmental protection and infrastructure.
