The Zbraschauer aragonite caves (Czech Zbrašovské aragonitové jeskyně ) are located three kilometers south of Hranice na Moravě in Okres Přerov , Czech Republic .
They are located in the Weißkirchen Karst in a side valley of the Bečva in the area of the municipality of Teplice nad Bečvou .
The caves were discovered in 1921 and have been open to the public since 1926. They were created hydrothermally and are the only ones of their kind that are open to visitors in the Czech Republic.
In the caves, which have a total length of 900 m, the temperature is 14 ° C. They are open to the public over a distance of 300 m. Inside there are aragonite structures such as geyser stalagmites.
The Weißkirchen Abyss is also located near the caves .
