Zbyněk Hotový
Zbyněk Hotový (born October 11, 1953 - November 29, 2019 ) was a Czech football player and selection player for Czechoslovakia between 1981 and 1983; twice he was appointed to the national team of the ČSSR .
Football career
Hotovýs home club was Slavia Prague , for which the striker worked from 1976 to 1985 and scored 24 goals in 177 league encounters. He scored a goal in two European Cup matches.
He played in the national team on April 16, 1983 6-0 in the qualifying home game for the European Championship 1984 against Cyprus - he scored a goal in the 90th minute, but the qualification success as third in the group failed to materialize, see European Football Championship 1984 / Qualification - and before that on November 11, 1981 in a friendly against Argentina (1-1), where his goal in the 23rd minute ensured the Czechoslovaks' respectable result in Argentina.
In addition, Hotový played twice in the national B team and once in the Olympic selection.
