Kulturpalast is a weekly cultural TV show from 3sat . Since May 2011, the program has been running every Thursday under the name zdf.kulturpalast on ZDFkultur and as a repeat on 3sat . The program produced by Kobalt Productions is presented by Pegah Ferydoni and, since 2012, by Nina Sonnenberg . On the new slot on 3sat, the program will initially be presented exclusively by Sonnenberg, while Ferydoni is on maternity leave.
The broadcast was discontinued on December 1, 2018. The last broadcast was about beauty.

In her program, the presenter presents various topics from the areas of high, pop and net culture. According to their own statements, the show gives a subjective, amusing and multi-layered, sometimes evil view of the world of performing arts.
Charisma
In 2014, the program ran in blocks of 5 programs each on 3sat Saturdays at 7:25 pm and was repeated on ZDFkultur . At the beginning, the program was always broadcast on ZDFkultur on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. The time slot was later moved to around 9:45 p.m. The program is 29 minutes long.
criticism
The broadcast on June 16, 2011 caused a sensation. It featured an interview by "Johannes trainee" with Tyler, the Creator in a satirical report . It was suggested to the viewer that the reporter from zdf.kulturpalast had met the rapper for an interview. However, only press scenes from him and newly recorded scenes from the reporter were cut together. Some viewers got the impression of a real interview, which never took place. The ZDF called the fake interview as a "satirical approach to the attitude of the artist".
The show was nominated for the 2013 Grimme Prize in the "Information and Culture" category.
