The Agricola II colliery was a mine in the Laer district of Bochum , which was in operation as a tunnel mine from 1954 to 1962 .

The mine was put into operation on February 16, 1954. The tunnel mouth hole was located south of Wittener Straße. In the following year, 68 miners extracted 20,333 tons of hard coal . In 1959, 78 miners produced 28,811 tons of hard coal, which was the highest output of the mine.

In 1961 the production sank to 21,820 tons, this production was provided with 45 miners. Almost a year later, on October 1, 1962, the mine was closed. On August 31, 1963, the miner's insurance of the mine ended.
