The Constanze colliery was a colliery in Langendreer that was only active for nine years. During this time there was a small train connection to Stockum station on the Dortmund-Löttringhausen - Bochum-Langendreer line .
On October 14, 1848, was carried out ceremony of the square field . But it wasn't until 1919 that the colliery went into operation. It had two production shafts , which were 85 m and 229 m deep. In 1926 the mine produced around 209,000 tons of edible coal . In 1928, however, the mine was closed again, the daytime facilities were demolished and the shafts filled .
