The bill help of God , also called coal mine Hülfegottes , is a former coal mine in Bochum district Weitmar . The mine was erroneously called the Gabe Gottes mine .

Mining history

Although hard coal had already been mined in a seam for several years , it was not until 1769 that the decision was submitted to the mining authority . In 1771, a further speculation was made. The following year, an old three- shaft tunnel was uncovered. In 1823 the mine was closed in time limits . In 1835 the mine was initially back in operation, after which the Hülfe Gottes colliery was merged with the Christiana colliery to form the Hülfe Gottes colliery and Christiana.

Help of God & Christiana

The Zeche Hülfe Gottes & Christiana in Weitmar was also known under the name Zeche Hülfe Gottes & Christiane , Zeche Christiana & Hülfe Gottes or Christiane & Zeche Hülfe Gottes . In 1773 the first guess was made for the Hülfegottes & Christiana mine , and in 1831 a new guess was made for the same mine. In July of the following year the plant was put back into operation and a new tunnel was started. In 1836 the Constanz August shaft of the Hasenwinkel-Himmelscroner Erbstolln colliery was shared by the Hülfe Gottes & Christiana colliery. That year the mine was in good yield . On November 3rd, 1837, a length field was awarded . In the first half of 1846 the Hülfe Gottes & Christiana colliery was initially still in operation, then it was taken out of service and on November 28 of the same year the Hülfe Gottes & Christiana colliery was shut down. Some time after the closure, the Hasenwinkel-Himmelscroner Erbstolln colliery was closed.

advancement

The first production figures come from the year 1836, 40,197½ tons of hard coal were produced. In 1838 production rose to 53,189 Prussian tons. From 1839 there was a sharp decline in production. In 1840 the production sank to 26,349½ tons of hard coal. The last known production and workforce figures for the mine are from 1842; 15,744 Prussian tons of hard coal were mined.
