Zeche Im Rauendahl

The Zeche Im Rauendahl was a hard coal mine in Rauendahl , Hattingen . It existed from 1952 to 1957. The largest annual production was achieved in 1954 with 7708 t with 29 employees. The last owner was the Hausbach trade union, which also operated the Flora colliery and other small mines. The small mine had to stop its production on August 31, 1957 because it was discovered that coal had previously been mined by another mine in the field.

In the 19th century there was a Rauendahl colliery in this area .
