Mining history

In 1797 an Akeldruft (Ak) was added to the Sälzer Bach . This Akeldruft was on the courtyard meadow of Schemanns Mühle in the area below the mill. The Ak was created by Hermann Hammacher et Consorten. The purpose of this Ak was the deeper drying of the already charred parts of the seam and the old Sälzer Ak, which was also called Devens Ak or Gummich's Werk. The Akeldruft, also known as Schemanns Adith, was driven further east in the same year. In 1799 the newly created Akeldruft was completed, so the old Sälzer Ak is no longer needed, especially since the coal supplies of the Sälzer Ak were running out. After three speculations , on January 24, 1800 the loan was made on the dirt bank seam. On September 10 of the same year, the additional loan for the Herrenbank seam took place. The Neuak union was formed that same year . In 1802, the lending was expanded to include the dirty bank seam as well as the dirty bank seam. In 1803 the mutation was laid on the seam stone bench. In the following year, the assumption was made for the seam five-hand bench, also known as the five-hand bench, and for other seams that were not named. On August 20 of the same year , the Neue Ak colliery consolidated with the Sälzer Ak union to form the United Sälzer & Neuack colliery. The purpose of this consolidation was the mining below the bottom of the tunnel . The Stollenzeche Dreck-Herrenbank should continue to be run independently until the transition to civil engineering by the United Sälzer & Neuack colliery. In the period from September 26th to October 31st, 1806, the consolidation was confirmed by the state.
