Mining history

In 1946 the union was founded. In the same year, dismantling began in a GBAG lease field . In 1948, 30 miners extracted 4600 tons of hard coal . In the following year, the maximum production of the mine was achieved with 13 miners, it amounted to 4622 tons of hard coal. On February 1, 1950, the mine was closed. On August 16, 1952, the mine was put back into operation. Simultaneously with the restart, there was a change of ownership. Lothar Nicolas became the new owner of the mine. On February 28, 1953, the Querenburg colliery was shut down.
