The Trompette colliery in Essen-Kupferdreh - Dilldorf is a former hard coal mine . The mine was also known as the Trompete colliery in Hinsbeck . In addition to hard coal , iron stone was also extracted from the mine .
Mining history
On September 10, 1850 was Langenfeld trumpet in Hinsfeld awarded . The mine was put into operation in the second half of 1856. A tunnel was set up west of the Deilbach. The tunnel mouth hole was set up in the area of today's Deilbachbrücke road. The tunnel was then driven in a westerly direction. From 1858 mining was carried out. Around 1862 a part of the mine field , which was located east of the Deilbach, was merged into Black Eagle & Trompete. The Trompette colliery was shut down around 1870. In 1906 the field was taken over by the Zeche Adler .
Promotion and workforce
The first production figures come from the year 1858, 68,607 bushels of hard coal were produced . The first workforce dates from 1860; 28 miners were employed in the mine. In 1861 the production rose to 25,376 Prussian tons of hard coal, the workforce was 19 employees. In 1867, 12 employees produced 4,255 tons of hard coal. In 1869 the production was 54 tons of hard coal. These are also the last known figures for the mine.
