action

Zee Oui (Chinese: 鄹 茂) was a Chinese soldier in his youth. When one day he and his unit had to wipe out an entire village, the commander showed no scruples and simply had the residents slaughtered. As a result of this trauma, Zee Oui suffers a nervous breakdown, which gets worse when the supervisor throws him a severed hand which he is supposed to eat. In the opinion of the commanding officer, this is what makes a “real warrior”. After Zee Oui has recovered to some extent, he escapes from the internal battlefield and travels by train to Thailand to live with his grandfather. But even at the border post, his further problems began when he had to register. Due to the language barrier, one of the border guards quickly loses his patience and only sees the crowd of other travelers and fleeing people. So he has Zee Oui arrested so that he cannot be delayed any longer. After his uncle finds out about the imprisonment, he picks up his grandson. Zee Oui quickly settles in the new area and does small jobs for his relative. He also quickly finds a job as a "worker" and thus secures his life.

However, he cannot get rid of the memories of his terrible past and is caught up with them again and again. He can't cope with these either and they quickly turn him into a real cannibal . Bangkok, the city where he and his uncle now live, is now becoming a great hunting ground for him. For him, the victims are mainly children, whom he digests and whose innards he eats. He leaves the body behind. The whole city and region is quickly put in fear and terror. A reporter who doesn’t shy away from showing photos of the victims in her newspaper is infatuated with the case and, like the police, follows every lead in order to track down the cannibal. But only by chance, when a monk boy disturbs his evisceration, are a knife and a shoe lost in a hurry found; which point to a Chinese perpetrator. Suspicious Chinese are then immediately taken into police custody and the hunt for the real culprit continues. Above all, the reporter, who recognized the victim's knife, is now looking for its owner - and thus the alleged murderer of the children.

In the hunt and for fear of being arrested by the police or the military, Zee Oui tries to flee back home and sells a chain stolen from one of the victims' children to his uncle in order to cover the expenses necessary for the trip. Immediately he sets off. But the reporter, who is now fixed on the trail, tracks down uncle Zee Ouis and questions him. Suddenly the reporter discovers the stolen chain on the table and asks where he got it from. Upon receipt of the information, her suspicions are confirmed and she immediately goes to a police station to have a phantom picture made. At around the same time, Zee Oui is on the beach trying to catch another victim. He quickly found the right child for him and hunted it down. When he arrives in a cave, he also kills this child. Two other children, however, notify the police. The hunt for the notorious cannibal is immediately taken up and quickly caught. Because of this sudden turn, Zee Oui finally goes crazy and wants to attack the police. The reporter takes sides in good time and pretends to be Zee Oui, who is in a crisis, his mother. As hoped, his mind falls for this deception and the reporter succeeds in disarming Zee Oui. The police immediately seized him and he was arrested.

In the public trial, Zee Oui is sentenced to death unless he confesses to all murders and is given back his complete freedom and escort to his former homeland, China. The people, on the other hand, demand his death. After much thought, Zee Oui testifies and stresses himself. The promise is then kept and Zee Oui is transferred to China, his home country. But there is no freedom awaiting him there, but the death penalty, as his actions have damaged China's reputation. In his home village, Zee Oui was finally publicly executed at the age of 25.
