Pointer animal
Pointer animals (indicator animals ) are, like pointer plants, species with a low ecological potential , i.e. with a low tolerance to changes in their living conditions. They therefore give, among other things, good information about the nature of their habitat (e.g. water quality) and thus belong to the so-called bioindicators .
