The magazine leadership and organization ( zfo ) is the primary press organ of the society for organization (gfo). The magazine, which has been published since 1927, serves to convey organizational knowledge. It is one of the most respected German-language specialist magazines for corporate management and organization.
In 2003 the magazine was redesigned and given a modern look by Schäffer-Poeschel Verlag . The editorship has since been through the zfo-publishing company GbR perceived, a collaboration between the gfo, the Swiss Society for Organization and Management (SGO) and the Austrian Association Organization and Management (ÖVO). Previously, gfo was the sole editor.
