The Zeitschrift für Arbeitsrecht (ZFA) is a legal journal published four times a year by the Dr. Otto Schmidt appears in Cologne. The magazine was founded in 1970. Until 2017 it was published by Carl Heymanns (later Wolters Kluwer ). The ZFA is an "archive journal" in the field of labor law, which publishes scientific treatises on questions of labor law and related areas of law.

The magazine was founded by the general manager of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations, Hermann Franke, who also acted as its first editor and together with Wolfgang Zöllner as the editorial board.

The journal's editorial team today consists of Abbo Junker (Director of ZAAR, Chair for Labor Law and Civil Law at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich) and Roland Wolf (Managing Director of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations ).

The editors include representatives from labor law, labor justice, employers' associations and companies.

The editorial office is based in Berlin .
