The Journal of Chinese Law ( ZChinR , Journal of Chinese Law ) is a German legal journal about Chinese law.

The magazine is published by the German-Chinese Lawyers Association, founded in the summer of 1986. V. (DCJV, German-Chinese Jurists' Association ) in connection with the German-Chinese Institute for Law of the Universities of Göttingen and Nanjing and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. The editorial support is still carried out in Nanjing .

The ZChinR contains scientific articles as well as information, documentation and reports that reflect the current state of discussion in China. In the archive you can see the content of the older ZChinR issues and there you can also download the full text of these issues as PDF files.

history

In 1994 the association DCJV began in cooperation with the Sino-German Institute for Law of the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the University of Nanjing with the publication of a quarterly newsletter that provided information on the latest legal developments in the People's Republic of China .

In 2004 the newsletter was replaced by the magazine for Chinese law (ZChinR).
