Journal of historical jurisprudence

The Journal of Historical Jurisprudence was an influential legal journal. It was founded and published in 1814 by Karl Friedrich Eichhorn , Johann Friedrich Ludwig Göschen and Friedrich Carl von Savigny . It was discontinued with Volume 15 in 1848/50. Most recently AAF Rudorff was one of its editors .

Its tradition is continued today in the journal of the Savigny Foundation for Legal History (also journal for legal history ; short: ZRG).
