Zell is part of the municipality of Moorenweis in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck . The hamlet is about four kilometers northwest of Moorenweis.
history
The place is said to go back to a foundation of the Benediktbeuern monastery . In 1340 Zell was sold to the knight Stephan von Schmiechen. Then the Ettal Abbey and the Counts of Seefeld appear as owners.
