Zemra lake

Lake Zemra ( Albanian  Liqeni i Zemrës , Serbian Велико језеро Veliko jezero ) is a mountain lake in western Kosovo , only 400 meters from the Albanian border. It is located at an altitude of 2,289 meters on the northern slope of the 2,539 meter high Maja e Gusanit mountain . To the northwest are the Gjeravica , at 2,656 m the highest mountain in the region, the Gjeravica lake and other small lakes.

The Zemra lake is 150 meters long and 120 meters wide. It gets its name from its shape, which is reminiscent of a heart.
