Lake Gjeravica ( Albanian Liqeni i Gjeravicës ; Serbian Đeravičko jezero Језеро Ђеравица ) is a 240 meter long and 120 meter wide mountain lake in western Kosovo near the Albanian border. It is located at around 2200 m south of the top of Gjeravica Mountain ( 2656 m ), after which it is named. The river Erenik rises from the lake .
The water is known for its great diversity of insects .
