The Zendstation Egem is a transmitter for VHF radio and television at 51 ° 1 ′ 16 ″  N , 3 ° 14 ′ 8 ″  E. Coordinates: 51 ° 1 ′ 16 ″  N , 3 ° 14 ′ 8 ″  E

near the village of Pittem in West Flanders , Belgium . A guyed tubular mast is used as the transmission mast, which is 290 meters high (according to other sources 305 meters) and which is one of the tallest structures in Belgium. Eleven VHF transmitters with outputs between 2 and 50 kW supply the Flemish population with private and public broadcasting. In addition, television programs are broadcast from here via three UHF transmitters.
